Your registration fee contributes to the cost associated with organising this event. It is the sponsorship money you raise, that will help to make a huge difference for seriously ill babies, children and young adults at Naomi and Jack's.

    The peak period for donations are between 7am-10am - 26% of donations are made within these hours with a lunchtime spike of 11% of donations at 12 noon.

    Gift Aid is a government scheme which allows Naomi and Jack's to claim an extra 25% of your donation value. 

    If you or your supporters are UK taxpayers, Naomi and Jack's can claim an extra 25p for every £1 donated. Remind your supporters to sign up for Gift Aid. Every penny helps!

    Tours of our hospices take place weekly on a Friday afternoon at 1:30pm and last approximately 90 minutes.

On the day

Everything you need to know for the day

  • You are welcome to start the walk anytime within the times stated below. Your walker number is essential on the day for when you check in at registration.

    These times are to ensure you can meet up with friends and family that might be completing a different distance to you.

    The route will be fully marked by black arrows on a white background and you have the route map provided.

    Please remember this is a countryside walk on a weathered multi-terrain route. Please walk with care!

  • Classic Clarendon Way (26 Miles)

    Between 07:00am & 08:00am at Winchester Cathedral. Please join us at 07:30 for a celebratory start to mark the 20th anniversary of this wonderful event.

  • Bus travel is complementary, however you MUST pre book. If you would like to book bus travel and haven’t already, please contact events@naomiandjacks.org.uk

    We are unable to make amends on the day.

    Collection point for the pre-event bus is Salisbury Cathedral Walls, SP1 2SF (What Three Words: ///chip.saying.tries)

    • Salisbury to Winchester Bus – 06:30 (Drop off: The Broadway, Winchester)

    • Salisbury to Broughton Bus – 11:30 (Drop off: The Grey Hound Pub, Broughton)

    • Salisbury to Pitton Bus – 13:30 (Drop off: Pitton Village)

    Please note there will be NO buses after the walk.

    We suggest that you park your car in Salisbury and catch the pre-event bus to Winchester, thus meaning your car will be at the finish.

  • We have two emergency numbers for you, please do save these numbers into your phone prior to starting the walk:

    First Aid - 07935 515560 If you have a medical emergency, please use this number.

    Event Emergency – 07452 945613 – If you need to report a non-medical emergency, please use this number.

    If you wish to withdraw from the event, please inform us that you are doing so by texting your name and walker number to TBC.
